What Aspects Of Your Game Are You Working On To Improve?
Currently, I am working on improving my clears so that I can find the best outlet and be able to hit him in perfect stride.
What Makes You Unique?
I have a good understanding of different offenses and notice patterns so that I can adjust my defense accordingly.
What Can You Offer A Program Others Cannot?
I bring a great attitude and work ethic to the table. I hate taking more than a couple days off from training and I push my teammates so that they progress along with me.
Do You See Yourself As A Leader?
Yes, I keep my defense motivated and point them in the right direction when mistakes are made. I also lead by example during practices and games.
What Are Your Strengths As A Player?
My communication skills are my strength. There is not a moment when the ball is on my side of the field that I am not directing my defense and calling out ball position
Who Are Your Role Models?
Niko Amato is a role model of mine. He is a great goalie and when he was my camp counselor, he really helped me improve my game and he was a great person as well.
What Is The Best Part Of The Game of Lacrosse? What Do You Enjoy Most About The Sport? I love close and intense games. When we have those games, our student section, The Cat Pack, really fires us up and gets us into the game. It\’s a great experience.
What Is Something You Have Learned During Your High School Athletic Career?
I\’ve learned that a strong mental game is very important in high school. I can\’t get down on myself when I let up a goal, I have to focus on the next save.
What Advice Would You Pass On To Other Athletes That Want To Play At The Next Level?
My advice would be to keep your grades up and start on the recruiting process early to get your name out there.
